We can tell fall is in the air in Miami. No, not because of the weather — have you been outside lately? We know because slowly, the summer closings are coming to an end.

And one of the most notable reopenings is at hand: Smorgasburg is back.

The open-air food market in Wynwood, which closed at the end of August, returns for its 2025-2026 season on Oct. 4 and 5 with a beer festival, new vendors and a new bar.

The Fresh Picks Beer Fest, which is Smorgasburg’s first craft beer celebration, features more than 15 breweries offering sample pours. Participants include Tripping Animals Brewing, Other Half NYC, Threes Brewing and Ambrosia Elixirs. Tokens cost $25 for five, and each token is redeemable for a pour.

Also new at the market is the Boat Bar, a centerpiece that features a spritz menu (a great drink for these still-warm days) and signature cocktails.

New vendors include Arepa Xpress; Buscia’s (which serves Polish buns); DVASH (Mediterranean fusion); Flamingo Bubble Waffles; Ikigai Sushi Catering; Makana Kava Gastrobar (Hawaiian fusion); Mori Matcha; Piadina 305 (Italian flatbreads); Platano Power (Dominican cuisine); Primoo Boba; and Toasted (sandwiches and melts).

You’ll also find old favorites like The Lazy Oyster, La Birrieria Tijuana, Korean Kitchen, La Picaña Grill and Tasty T’s.

Owner Gastno Becherano, who opened the first Smorgasburg in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood in 2011, said he was excited about the reopening.

“Each year we focus on elevating the market experience with fresh talent and new offerings,” he said. “This season really highlights the diversity and creativity of Miami’s food culture. Smorgasburg continues to be a launchpad for small businesses, and we’re proud to play a role in supporting their growth.”
