This fried chicken paradise is opening its first spot in Broward. Here’s what to know
After opening three of its wildly popular fried chicken restaurants in Miami-Dade, Raising Cane’s is finally opening its first spot in Broward County.
Caniacs — the fast-food restaurant’s fans, who are only slightly less passionate than devotees of Taylor Swift — can find the newest South Florida restaurant at 2501 Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. It opens Tuesday, Oct. 17. And yes, you can indulge to your heart’s content in the famous chicken tenders and Cane’s sauce.
In addition to being Broward’s first Raising Cane’s location, the restaurant will debut the first three-lane drive-thru in Florida, which presumably will make it faster to order box combos any time of day or night.
On opening day, 20 customers can enter the “Lucky 20” drawing to win free Cane’s food for a year. Entries will be accepted between 8 and 9 am. at the new restaurant on Oct. 17. To have a shot at winning, you must be over 13 and be there in person. The first 100 customers in line will get a commemorative T shirt.
Raising Cane’s has locations in Homestead, Miami Beach and Cutler Bay.
