The ultimate guide to: Miami’s newest restaurants
Sometimes, no matter how much you love them, you grow a bit weary of eating at the same old restaurants.
We are here to help.
Every week new restaurants open across Miami-Dade County. We’ve sifted through the list and wrote about some of them for the Miami Herald. We’ve made them into a list searchable by price, the part of town and the type of cuisine you’re craving. All of them are less than a year old. And we plan to keep updating this list with the newest spots.
The beginning of 2023 was a busy time for restaurant openings. Pastry chef Antonio Bachour, known for creating desserts that are almost too beautiful to eat, opened Tablé by Bachour, his first full-service, upscale French restaurant in the glamorous Design District. That luxurious neighborhood got a few other new spots, too, including the second location of Major Food Group’s Sadelle’s, famous for its Instagrammable bagel tower, and the laid-back Square Pie City from Chef Jeremiah Bullfrog, which serves Detroit-style pizza.
Dining extravagance could be found elsewhere, too. The over-the-top Giselle opened on the rooftop of E11even, one of Miami’s most popular nightclubs, and Queen Miami Beach, a luxurious Japanese restaurant, brought Miami Beach’s Paris Theater back to life. Even an old favorite returned: the News Café, one of the South Beach pioneers, returned just for the busy spring break season.
Will any of these spots become a new favorite? There’s only one way to find out.
