Burger battle: Meet the winner of our poll to find Miami’s favorite burger restaurant
Miami burger lovers, the internet has crowned a winner.
We asked you to nominate your favorite burgers in Miami in our highly unscientific, completely low-stakes internet poll. We started off with the top 16 restaurants that received the most write-in votes. (A caveat: We wanted to focus on the independent Miami-area spots — from North Miami to Homestead — that make our area unique. So we filtered out any chains, including Flanigan’s, American Social and Burger Fi, which had the most write-in votes.)
Voting over the last month cut the contestants down by half every week, until we were left with the top two vote-getters: Coral Gables’ Clutch Burger and Homestead’s Chefs on the Run.
And now we have a clear winner: Clutch Burger is the Best Burger in Miami as voted on by you. The prize? Eternal internet bragging rights — or, at least, until we run the poll again next year.
Clutch Burger sits in the middle of Giralda Plaza, the renovated Restaurants Row in Coral Gables. Its menu boasts 13 different burgers, most featuring wagyu beef patties, according to its online menu. They range from a double-cheeseburger topped with taleggio cheese and crispy onion rings to a turkey burger and even an Impossible beef burger.
Clutch Burger took 59 percent of the vote in the final poll. Congrats to the winners — and to those looking to try this burger spot.

This poll was completely unscientific. The stakes were low and you could vote for your favorite as many times as you wanted. We updated the poll weekly until we were down to the final two.
