Little Havana now has its first rooftop bar, thanks to this acclaimed hotel
Little Havana finally has its own place to watch the sunset.
Life House hotel in Little Havana has opened a new rooftop bar called Terras just blocks from Calle Ocho, and it’s the first rooftop bar in Little Havana.
The hotel was named one of the best hotels in Miami last fall by Fodor’s Travel, praised for being “cheap and chic.”
Now it’s even more chic. The cocktail ingredients are sourced from the Urban Rooftop and Courtyard Garden on-site, which means fresh herbs, spices and fruits. The specialties include the Furiosa (tequila, Aperol, falernum, lime and Hellfire Bitters) and the Mezcalyfan (mezcal, coconut cartel rum, pineapple, orgeat, xocolatl bitters and lemon served in a clay cup).
You can also order from a rotating list of local craft beers and a menu of organic wines from Spain and Latin America.
You can also grab something to eat at Terras. Think street food and small plates you’d find in the Caribbean and Latin America. Breakfast means mallorca made with cage-free eggs, sausage and cheddar or the E-A-T, an egg sandwich with arugula, tomato and poblano lime aioli.
There’s also an all-day menu that’s available until 10 p.m., with items like salads, tacos and black bean and queso dip.
