Young lovers Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson reportedly are no longer engaged.
The singer and comedian broke up over the weekend after a whirlwind, five month romance, TMZ first reported.
Though rumor has it they may rekindle things at a further date, it’s not looking too likely, as Grande returned Davidson’s custom $140,000 engagement ring and the pop star is keeping custody of their pet pig.
The “Saturday Night Live” star is said to be not taking his newly single status too well, as his ex fiancée was apparently the one to pull the plug.
“Ariana made the final decision,” an insider told ET. “It was time to realize this wasn’t the right time for them, and Pete is incredibly heartbroken. Pete is still is so in love with her. He wanted his whole world to revolve around her but she was emotionally unavailable. He realizes she was at her limit with pressure from everyone and everything around her. There were days she just wanted to run away from the world just to get some peace and quiet and piece of mind. Pete had to give her that space out of love.”

Neither has commented either way, but Grande took to social media on Monday for the first time since the news broke, tweeting a script from her upcoming performance in “A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway,” a special that airs on NBC Oct. 29.
As for Davidson, he’s smartly staying off the Internet, taking a break from Instagram. The comic did appear on “SNL,” notably playing a CNN reporter on the cold open skit of Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) hosting Kanye West (Chris Redd) at the White House.
