The “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star was sentenced to eight months behind bars for tax evasion on Friday. He pleaded guilty back in January.
Sorrentino and his brother Marc were indicted in 2014 on conspiracy charges related to $8.9 million they made between 2010 and 2013 and underreporting their earnings.
A rep for the reality star (real name Mike Sorrentino) told Us Weekly that he is looking forward to doing his time then marrying his girlfriend Lauren Pesce. She appeared on the Miami Beach based show last season.

“He anticipates to come back stronger as an individual and couple in the same healthy mind set that he has had for the last three years. He and Lauren are both so thankful for everyone’s support and prayers!”
The Situation’s lawyer, Henry E. Klingeman, told E! News Sorrentino has 30 to 60 days to surrender to police.
The Garden State native was apologetic for his his past transgressions: “I’m deeply sorry for my past actions,” he told the judge, reported PageSix.com. “Today I’m the man that I should’ve been years ago. I’ve worked tirelessly to overcome my demons and put my life back together.”
We have a feeling there are no tanning beds where he is headed.
