Lil Kim looks a lot different these days. By choice. Onlookers at STORY nightclub were surprised to see the rapper Thursday night when she climbed into the DJ booth — as a platinum blonde with high cheekbones, squinty eyes and a teeny nose.

Think: A Kim Kardashian and Coco Austin rolled into one. Let’s just all come to the same consensus: Plastic surgery was involved in the transformation. Some social media users were taken aback by her Instagram shots — hashtagged simply #Miami Heat! with a smiley emoji —and laid it out bare in the comments section.

Some were concerned that the petite Magic Stick hip-hopper (born Kimberly Denise Jones in Brooklyn some 40-odd years ago) was “hurting.” Others who grew up listening to her music in the ’90s expressed remorse that the old Lil Kim had been replaced. Is change always good? We can’t say. All we know is Lil Kim is smiling in a lot of the shots. So if she’s happy, can’t we all be happy for her? The No Matter What They Say hip hopper was set to do her thing at Studio 23 in Miami Beach Monday night.
