Diddy was just spotted in prison amid major family news
It’s a far cry from Star Island.
In rare (blurry) footage, Sean “Diddy” Combs was filmed walking around the grounds of FCI Fort Dix, his home away from home about 1,000 miles from Miami Beach.
The 56-year-old looks fairly fit and trim in a white T-shirt and beige shorts. While his face is partially hidden by a cap, a white beard is visible. Barbed wire is in the background during his workout, as is a road with passing cars.
The fallen rapper has been behind bars at the New Jersey federal facility since October last year. Combs was sentenced to 50 months after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Inmate No. 37452-054’s release date has been changed several times. Just last month the Federal Bureau of Prison’s website readjusted it, shaving a few months off. It now stands at Feb. 23, 2028, and was initially June 4 of that year.
The reason has never been publicly given, but his lawyers have said their client is on his best behavior, working in the chapel library and partaking in a substance abuse treatment program.
The undated, recently released video, which was shot by an unknown person during the ex-music mogul’s daily routine, comes on the heels of some fairly major news about his family.
TMZ adds that Combs’ 19-year-old twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, have launched a fashion label (mom was model Kim Porter who died of pneumonia complications in 2018).
The teens, avid TikTokers who graduated from high school in Los Angeles last year, skipped college to go into the fashion and modeling industry.
From behind bars, Combs, who started menswear collection Sean John in the ‘90s, released a statement to TMZ saying he was “incredibly proud” of the girls. The duo’s unisex streetwear brand is called 12TWINTY1,playing on their birthdate of Dec. 21.
An Instagram page for the company, which touts having “stuff for everyone,” is already active, with the identical girls posing in black business suits with clipboards.
A perusal of the website Wednesday revealed comfortable looking athleisure for both genders including a tee ($53), hoodie ($119) and sweatpants ($107).
“From the day we were born we’ve always had a special love for fashion — it’s always been a part of who we are,” says the website’s bio section. “Growing up, we always knew we wanted to design our own clothes and launch our own clothing line. It has always been a dream for us, and we’re so beyond grateful and blessed that our dream is coming true.”
