Inside Bettina Anderson’s ‘elegant’ bridal shower in Palm Beach

Page Six obtained exclusive details of Bettina Anderson’s bridal shower, to be held later this month at the political family’s base camp of Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. The theme of the luncheon is “Enchanted Garden,” the outlet says, and it’s looking to be quite the floral affair.
Speaking of (possible) affairs, Jr., 48, and Anderson 39, were first seen together in September 2024 sharing a cozy brunch at the upscale Royal Poinciana Plaza mall, near her place. The “Triggered” author and Guilfoyle happened to be still engaged at the time.
But that was then and this is now. Guilfoyle has since landed a plum gig thanks to her ex’s father in the White House. President Donald Trump appointed the onetime Fox anchor ambassador to Greece after the split from his firstborn became official.
Fast-forward about a year and a half. Anderson is said to be having between 60 and 100 people to the “elegant, ladylike” gathering, which is being organized by the socialite’s philanthropist pals.
It’s unclear if the shower will be traditional, as in women only, or if the celebration is Jack and Jill style. Expected to attend are the groom-to-be’s many siblings, including Ivanka, Tiffany and sister-in-law Lara, who is married to his younger brother Eric.
Will any of Jr.’s five kids show? He and his ex-wife Vanessa Haydon, 48, are said to be on good terms on the co-parenting front so no problems there. We have a feeling golf phenom Kai, 18, will drop by and possibly chauffeur younger sister Chloe, 11.
One thing we know for certain is that Haydon’s boyfriend Tiger Woods will not be doing any pickups or dropoffs. Just before the weekend, the golf titan, 50, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Jupiter Beach after flipping over his SUV on a residential street. On Tuesday, Woods announced he is “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment” after pleading not guilty to the charges.
So does Jr. have issues with his ex dating the Masters champ, 50, in the wake of the most recent incident? An insider told British gossip columnist Rob Shuter’s “Diary” that he likes and respects Haydon’s beau, who’s been in at least three car crashes in recent years. But having the (also divorced) father of two around his kids is “alarming.”
Glass houses and all that. In the early 2000s, Jr. was arrested for public intoxication in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The former “Apprentice” star later told New York magazine that he “used to drink a lot and party pretty hard” and decided to quit cold turkey.
“I have too much of an opportunity to make something of myself, be successful in my own right,” said the first son. “Why blow it?”
