Here’s where to celebrate Taylor Swift’s new ‘Showgirl’ album in Miami
By now certainly you know that Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, “Life of a Showgirl” drops at midnight Friday.
But did you know South Florida’s hosting several album release parties starting Thursday night and into Friday’s Oct. 3 release day so you can communally share your reactions to her new music in person? Show off your orange and green outfits patterned after the album cover. Eat, drink and dance to the new tunes.
There’s even a Taylor Swift-themed karaoke event at a Miami bar that’s named after a Neil Diamond tune.
Swifties can even share theories as to how the “Life of a Showgirl” album art and Eras Tour “Easter Egg” hints seem to be suggesting that there’s some tie to her much-anticipated “Reputation-Vault Tracks” project.
After all, “Life of a Showgirl” is produced by the “Reputation” duo Max Martin and Shellback. Swift last worked with that pair on her 2017 “Reputation” album.
These are the kind of things that make fans go, “Hmm...”
Here are some of the places where you can make like a “Showgirl” and end your week on a Taylor Swift sugar high. Some of the events offer free admission but drinks and food will cost you. None of these events are sanctioned or promoted by Swift or her team.
