Travis Kelce is officially a Florida man. What we know about his current situation
The secret’s out.
Travis Kelce’s hunkering down in a luxury bunker in Boca Raton during the offseason, according to widespread media reports. That’s about an hour north of Miami.
Floridians were left to wonder where the Kansas City Chiefs player was laying his head after being spotted last month working out in the area.
Kelce works with Boca-based trainer Andrew Spruill, who specializes in helping athletes up their speed and overall performance.
Spruill conducts many of his sessions at Johnny O’s Gymnasium — a facility with 55 yards of outdoor field turf, an indoor weight room, Olympic lifting platforms and more — in town. So Kelce won’t have to travel far to get his sweat on.
The tight end’s $20 million, six-bedroom mansion is located inside the ultra exclusive Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. Ultra exclusive, meaning it’s locked up like Fort Knox 24/7 and even its Instagram account is set to private.
Kelce’s 8,340-square-foot, six bedroom rental, built in 2020, includes such amenities as a movie theater, wine cellar, private dock, pool with waterfall and, obviously, more. The club has a Jack Nicklaus signature course on site, tennis courts, lap pool, plus a marina. The Daily Mail estimates the bachelor could be shelling out as much as $100,000 a month for this gem.
Football insiders say this coming season could be the NFL’s last — so it’s reasonable to assume this plush property could potentially be a retirement home down the road if Kelce decides to buy.
Now, is girlfriend Taylor Swift all in? The world famous pop star recently finished the tour of a lifetime, but we don’t feel like she’s ready to pack in her guitar just yet.
That’s OK. The couple, both 35, can enjoy time in the Sunshine State at Kelce’s crib or use it as a launching pad to get somewhere tropical (remember that romantic trip to the Bahamas?). These two know how to R&R like champs.
Kelce is no stranger to the area. Mom has a place about two hours away, near Orlando.
Now that the real estate cat is out of the bag, some Swifties are probably making plans to descend on Boca to get a rare sighting of the lovebirds. The last time the low-profile pair were spotted was at a Philadelphia restaurant on Mother’s Day.
But if you do see Kelce and Swift, keep your distance. They want to be “normal,” like regular folks, an insider recently told People magazine.
“Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight,” the source said. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
