Travis Kelce has been laying low lately. Here’s where he was finally spotted in Florida
South Floridians: We have a Travis Kelce sighting.
The Kansas City Chiefs player was spotted in a social media post over the weekend, getting his sweat on in Boca Raton, about an hour north of Miami.
High school wide receiver Jazz Lewis, son of retired NFL star Jamal Lewis, shared the selfie on his X account:
“Learned a lot from the Super Bowl legend,” wrote the Atlanta area teen, tagging the NFL, the Chiefs and @AndrewSpruill.
Spruill is not only Kelce’s speed trainer, but a friend who has attended many of his games at Arrowhead Stadium in K.C., and even hobnobbed with Kelce’s famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Spruill not only works in sports performance but works with all levels of athletes, including youth.
“Our mission is to help each athlete reach their goals and potential,” the FAU grad writes on his website. “Whether that be making varsity, earning an athletic scholarship or a professional athlete trying to separate from the pack.”
It’s unclear where Kelce and the young man were pictured, but on Spruill’s website, he says he conducts sessions at Johnny O’s Gymnasium in Boca. The facility has 55 yards of outdoor field turf, an indoor weight room, Olympic lifting platforms and more.
Kelce is no stranger to the area, keeping fit with Spruill during his off season for some time. Conveniently, the “New Heights” podcaster can also drive over to see his mom Donna, who has a condo near Orlando.
So...burning question time. Where’s Swift? Did she accompany her bf on the trip? Disappointingly, the pop star’s Instagram hasn’t been updated since December of last year, with a carousel of her Eras tour. Moreover, the couple has been under the radar lately (meaning they haven’t appeared on Page Six) so we have no idea what they are doing, which appears to be on purpose.
An insider recently told People magazine that the 35-year-old lovebirds are being low key for a reason.
“Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight,” the source told the outlet, adding they have been traveling. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
But since celebrity gossip is basically our full time job, we would appreciate a local Swift/Kelce status update, if possible.
