Drake just shot a video in Kendall at the old Super Wheels roller rink. Watch a clip
Slumming it!
When Drake flies in to Miami on his giant, blue private jet, we’re used to seeing the superstar tuck in to fancy places like Prime 112.
The “God’s Plan” singer even once rented out the bar at the high-end South Beach steakhouse so he could “eat in peace.”
But the Toronto native was in a very different part of town recently: West Kendall, at Miami Roller Rink.
On March 21, the 30,000-square-foot venue, which took over the old Super Wheels space, was transformed into a set for Sexyy Red’s music video for “Get It Sexyy.”

Drake makes a cameo as Red’s date with a roving eye.
On Instagram, the rink posted a scene from the video, which is set in the early 2000s. In the snippet, the hip-hoppers (who are reportedly good friends IRL) are ordering Icees at the iconic snack bar. After Red accuses Drake of flirting with the server, they begin to quarrel, and the NSFW-lyric-filled track begins.
Some of the commenters were locals who had frequented or even worked at the beloved strip mall joint, whose old-school decor hasn’t changed much over time.
“OMG. I’ve literally stood where they’re standing!”
“I worked that whole snack bar at that register like 16 years ago.”
“Bruh. How did I not know this.”
“This is freaking awesome! You guys are killing it as the new owners! I can’t wait to visit.”
