Love DJ Khaled? On Thursday, Miami’s favorite rapper is hitting the links for his inaugural golf tournament.

Registration for the We the Best Foundation Golf Classic taking place all day at the Miami Beach Golf Club is closed. Pro tip: You may want to stay away from the area around Alton Road and 23rd Street, it may be a little cray cray. The golf course is also closed for the event and you will not be able to book a tee time.

Though you the tourney is sold out, you may see more famous faces than usual in town.

Khaled is rubbing clubs with his many pals from all walks of celebrity life, from rappers (Diddy, 2Chainz, Fat Joe, Offset, Quavo and Timbaland) to athletes (Hassan Whiteside, Jorge Pasada and Odell Beckham). Even pro Brooks Koepka, who tied for second place at this year’s Masters, will be on the green.

Khaled is taking this whole golf thing seriously. He even managed to hit a few balls after he injured himself while surfing on vacation, remember?

The “I’m So Hood” singer is actually a pretty decent player, practicing up to seven days a week. The 47-year-old father of two told Golf Digest he’s been working on his game since the pandemic eased about two years ago.

“I want to be clear: This is not a joke. This is something that’s part of my life,” Khaled told the magazine. “Everywhere I go they scream ‘Let’s go golfing!’ It’s just something that comes out of my soul and my heart. It’s a beautiful slogan that came from a true organic space in my life, and you’re gonna see a lot of things with ‘Let’s go golfing!’ You’re gonna see some beautiful things.”

Proceeds to go his We The Best Foundation, uplifting those in underserved communities.
