Date night, Miami style: Parents-to-be Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner step out for dinner
Date night, 305 style.
Joe Jonas and pregnant wife Sophie Turner stepped out of their plush cocoon this weekend, dining out at CHICA in Morningside.
The celeb couple stopped by Saturday night, ordering chef Lorena Garcia’s specialties, including her signature baby back ribs al pastor, ember-roasted cauliflower and the “flaming skull” dessert, a chocolate lava cake dramatically ignited tableside.
Insiders tell Miami.com Jonas was friendly, posing for selfies with fans in the former Soyka space.
The next day, the couple did what many locals do - checked out a farmers market. It’s unclear by paparazzi shots which one, but we imagine it’s the weekly market at Legion’s Park near the stars’ megamansion in Bay Point.
Last fall, the former boy bander and “Game of Thrones” star dropped $11 million for their waterfront home, which used to belong to Latin music icon Willy Chirino.
Their high wattage meets low profile neighbors? None other than Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias. Now this is a double date we are here for 100 percent.
This crew would need a babysitter, though. The former tennis star and pop star have three kids. As for Turner, her pregnancy was confirmed last month after much speculation about the actress’ burgeoning bump, which she showed off at the Academy Awards last week.
The baby will be a little sister or brother for Willa Jonas, who turns 2 in July.
