You’ve heard it before, folks. Look hard enough at any major headline, and there is usually some kind of Miami connection.

Well, we found it.

After the slap seen — and heard — around the world at the Dolby Theatre in L.A. Sunday night, Will Smith managed to shake off the hot mess and hit the Oscars afterparties.

Only in Dade caught a snippet of the star, who had just won the best actor award for “King Richard,” dancing it up to his famous 1998 track “Miami.”

Smith was mouthing the words to the bilingual song he knows so well while still clutching the golden man.

“This the type of town I could spend a few days in! Miami, the city that keeps the roof blazin’. Party in the city where the heat is on. All night, on the beach ’til the break of dawn. Welcome to Miami, bienvenidos a Miami!”

Smith had a lot to smile about at the time: Not only had Smith snagged one of the most coveted trophies in the world, but comedian Chris Rock had already told the LAPD he declined to press charges about the men’s very public contretemps.

Unless you have been living under an, um, rock (sorry, we just couldn’t resist), earlier in the evening, Smith had stormed the stage and smacked the “Grown Ups” star for a bad joke he told about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who has alopecia and recently shaved her head.

“Jada, can’t wait for G.I. Jane 2!” ribbed Rock, referencing the 1997 military drama starring a bald Demi Moore.

Smith looked to be laughing at the jab first, but as the “Red Table Talk” host’s eyes rolled, hubby quickly changed his tune and became infuriated.

After hitting the shocked comic, the Philly native sat back down and yelled twice, “Keep my wife’s name out your [bleeping] mouth!!”

While Rock declined to take legal action (all three are actually lifelong friends and former costars), The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is investigating the incident.

“The Academy condemns the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show,” Monday’s statement said. “We will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our bylaws, standards of conduct and California law.”

The 53 year old “Fresh Prince” has since apologized, while Jada has asked for “healing.”
