Embattled actor Armie Hammer ends rehab stint in Florida. His lawyer gives an update
He’s out.
After months-long treatment at a Florida rehabilitation center, Armie Hammer is back in society.
The actor’s lawyer confirmed the news in a statement to media and said Hammer is “doing great.”
Over the summer, the “Lone Ranger” star checked into an Orlando area facility to deal with drug, alcohol and sex addiction issues, Vanity Fair first reported.
The father of two was spotted heading to the Sunshine State back in late May soon after multiple women accused the California native of abuse, rape and sending cannibalistic text messages. Hammer strongly denied all claims.
The great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer lost numerous gigs amid the scandal, which also reportedly cost him his marriage to bakery shop owner Elizabeth Chambers.
Since the split, Chambers has been sequestered in the Cayman Islands, where Hammer spent some of his childhood, with the estranged couple’s two young children. That is where the 35-year-old actor reportedly is now.
The Los Angeles Police Department had been investigating Hammer amid the allegations, but, according to E! News, had no statement over the weekend after the “Social Network” star checked out.
