ARod just designed a pair of sneakers to go nicely with your quarantine attire
Alex Rodriguez sure is staying busy during his quarantine.
In between hanging out in his Coral Gables mansion with his blended family with fiancee Jennifer Lopez, ARod is also getting ready for baseball season. And designing shoes, like his lovely bride to be for DSW.
Despite all the recent closures and rollbacks, baseball is happening, but not the way you remember it. Think: No fans in the stadiums.
On Thursday night, Rodriguez’s old team, The New York Yankees will open the 2020 MLB regular season against the Washington Nationals in D.C.
On Friday, The Miami Marlins open with a three-game road series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
To celebrate this auspicious, albeit surreal turn of events, the retired slugger has put out a pair of kicks.
The 44 year old Miami native is also giving back to one of his favorite charities, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
His GAMMA 11 A-Rod X Alma Mater Opening Day sneakers not only commemorate the start of the 2020 Major League Baseball season, but give back to the community. One hundred percent of proceeds go to the B &G Club, where the baller spent many formative years.
The $195 handcrafted kicks for men are made of suede and leather and have an adjustable strap in front and sockbed lining. They are currently on back order.
Once they are back in stock, you can look super fashionable as you sit on your couch watching ball or await the next story about coronavirus cases on the rise.
Go team?!
