Did you call your spouse by your work wife’s name? Florida really misses coworkers
Do you miss your work spouse? You’re not alone.
A third of Miami is missing their work spouse, too.
PRPioneer.com, which provides PR and digital marketing resources, surveyed 3,500 employees who are working from home during coronavirus quarantine about their relationship with the person they identify as their work spouse. You know, that guy or woman you have lunch, complain and gossip with every day and are absolutely not having an affair with no matter what anybody else says.
Here’s what they found: 32 percent of Floridians surveyed said they missed their work wife or husband more than they’d miss their spouse.
PRPioneer.com also reports that one in 10 Florida respondents confess they have called their actual spouse by their work spouse’s name. No word on how many now have a divorce lawyer on speed dial.
Two out of three couples in Florida admit they’re not as productive when they’re working in the same house as their actual spouse, PRPioneer.com says. We are not sure what is distracting everybody. We suspect it’s either the ability to knock boots at the drop of a hat or the temptation of finishing that binge-watch of “Better Call Saul” on Netflix.
The state where workers miss their work spouses most? New Jersey, with 41 percent saying they really miss that special friend who they are totally, positively not in love with.
PRPioneer does want to help couples in these difficult times, though, offering tips for working from home with your partner.
