You will never work a stripper pole like JLo. But you can at least walk in her shoes
After seeing Jennifer Lopez’s performance at the halftime show in Super Bowl, we basically want to be her.
We do feel like she is our friend now that we have her cellphone number: The superstar entertainer gave out her number to fans so she could take requests hours before her jaw-dropping set with Shakira.
Though we will never have the 50-year-old’s talent, wealth, limber moves or attentive boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, we can at least walk in her shoes.
But we will need to have patience.
Lopez launched her shoe line last Thursday, teasing that her styles were influenced by her favorite cities and where she has lived: NYC (born), LA (starred in countless productions) and Miami (ARod’s part time home and where her kids with Marc Anthony reside).
“We’re bringing the downtown street style that represents New York, some old Hollywood glamour and a vibrancy that’s representative of Miami,” Lopez said in a statement.
Alas, we will have to wait until the March 9 presale to see the “Hustlers” star’s creations with the discount shoe chain. And the prices, too, which are not listed, but, hey, love don’t cost a thing. The full collection roll-out is March 16.
Judging by the pic she put out on Instagram to promote the line, we’re thinking sexy all the way. Stripper pole sexy.
Look on the website, and you won’t be able to wait to open your wallet. The pool of high heels, slingbacks, platforms, strappy stilettos and all types of open toe fabulousness had us almost drooling on our keyboard.
Save us the silver snakeskin heels with the ankle strap. The style is called Malika. Size 9, please.
