A ticket to the Maxim Super Bowl party costs about as much as the mortgage on your condo

Forget the football.

Super Bowl LIV in Miami is going to be all about the parties.

A giant nightclub is currently being built on Watson Island to host parties galore, but it turns out that isn’t the only waterfront party pop-up coming to the 305 just in time for the Big Game.

The MAXIM Big Game Experience will occupy a waterfront venue built just for the Super Bowl on Virginia Key. The event is a collaboration with Columbia Records and will feature performances by The Chainsmokers, Rick Ross, Lost Kings and more and takes place on Feb. 1, 2020.

MAXIM’s Havana Nights-inspired party is open to the public and promises to be a swanky affair that will take place in a 40,000-square-foot, fully-equipped tent on Virginia Key. Along with the performances, there will be food and open bars stocked with top shelf booze including, of course, The Chainsmokers’ very own tequila, JAJA Tequila. There will also be Insta-worthy activations including a candy dot wall and a candy bar, among other distractions.

This isn’t your rustic camping tent, this is pure glamping with gold chandeliers and velvet couches. Then again, this isn’t your average $20 cover charge party either. Tickets start at $1,250 for a VIP shared table, which includes comp bottle service, to 80-person packages with private 125-foot yacht transportation for $150,000. Yep. That one includes MAXIM models as hostesses on the yacht. There’s also a 12-person helicopter “experience” that includes round trip ride to the party. Apparently third party tickets will also be out on the black market, so beware.

And while some tickets include boat transportation to the venue, others do not. But fret not, as there are local companies offering swanky transport to the party as well, including celeb fave, Tropicalboat Luxury Yacht Charters & Rentals which is renting “smaller budget yachts” starting from about $1,500 that will get you to Maxim in style.

Some folks are even renting the fancy boats in lieu of hotels. With 1 Hotel South Beach offering a $1.5 million dollar Super Bowl package, that seems like a deal. Extravagant, sure. But we are talking about the Super Bowl and all the hype surrounding it. And MAXIM’s party is always a hot ticket.

“The MAXIM Big Game Experience is one of the biggest parties of the year, and we’re looking forward to having our artists set the tone for what promises to be the best year yet,” said Adam Alpert, founder of Disruptor Records, which is working with Columbia on the event.
