UPDATE: Voting has now closed for our Cutest Pet Contest. We are poring over the results from more than 6,000 votes entered in the dogs category and more than 1,500 from cat lovers. We will share the results and our winner stories will run digitally on miamiherald.com at noon Monday, Nov. 3. Pick your favorite from among the submissions.
Voting for Round 2 begins at noon Thursday, Oct. 23.
Second-round voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27.
What happens for the winners?
Your final choice of a top dog and a top cat will be featured in a Miami Herald story. And the winners will be entered into a national Cutest Pet contest.
Remember: This isn’t a scientific survey — it’s just for fun.
The winner will be announced at noon Monday, Nov. 3.
