This snack got recalled from 7-Eleven stores nationwide. Production has stopped

Two lots of a 7-Eleven store brand snack have been recalled by the manufacturer because it wasn’t safe for consumption.

At least, not safe for those who have a peanut allergy.

The 7-Select Yogurt Pretzels come in 5-ounce plastic pouches that don’t say the pretzels include peanut. And that’s because they usually don’t.

“A peanut-containing product mixed with pretzels from the third-party supplier during the repackaging process of the “7-Select Yogurt Pretzels” which does not include peanuts in the declared allergens,” the the FDA-posted recall notice states.

El Paso, Texas-based Azar Nut Company has stopped production while it makes sure this can’t happen again.

The lots involved are No. YR20140 with a best by date of May 19, 2021 and JT20147 with a best by date of May 26, 2021.

Those with questions can call Azar at 800-351-8178, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern time.
