This Three-Legged Golden Retriever Puppy Runs Straight Into Her Mama's Arms
Now that's a warm welcome home! One of the best parts of owning a dog is that they're always happy to see you. You're their favorite person! This goes double for when you walk in the door, as one person online knows. A three-legged Golden Retriever puppy was so happy to see her human, and her sprint to the door is positively adorable.
This is my idea of Heaven. The pup was one of several Golden Retrievers in the house, and she's definitely the friendliest.

Such a happy home! All of the dogs are excited when their mama walks in, but there is something really special about this little pup. The dog might be missing a leg, but she's just like everyone else. And this video is proof!

"Mommmmm!" you can imagine hearing the dog say in the clip. Hope is so stinkin' excited to see her human. The thing about dogs is that they don't hide their emotions. When they love you, you know it. They show it completely.
The baby Golden hopped over to her mama and then waited patiently for pets. She had a lot of competition! Everyone wanted a little of mom's attention.
"Baby Hope," the video's caption reads.
People in the comments section were so smitten with Hope and her little trot.
"She's just trying her best and I love her," wrote one commenter.
"HER NAME IS HOPE. My heart is so full now," someone else added.
"I do not say this lightly, I would die for baby Hope," a third commenter agreed.
"I have never wanted a puppy so bad omggg. Please, please, please shower that baby in so many kisses and snuggles for me, that sweet girl deserves the entire world," one person gushed.
Adopting a Tripod Dog
Having a dog that is missing is a leg might seem intimidating - what if they need special care? But in truth, a "tripod" dog can be such a treat.
Before bringing home a three-legged dog, make sure you understand any medical needs they have and know the reason for their missing limb. Dogs who have had their leg amputated might have long term complications that you should be aware of. Make sure you prepare your home for their arrival with ramps, if needed. And then prepare for them to give you so much love!
