Tiny Kitten Found Trapped Inside a Wall Gets the Most Perfect Name
A new pet parent found a tiny kitten in a wall and decided to give him the perfect name.
In a video posted to TikTok, a man posted an adorable video of a kitten he named Wall-E, inspired by the Pixar film of the same name. In the video, Wall-E sat quietly and attempted to get up a few times. He wobbled his head, and in another video, his dad revealed that the kitten has Wobbly Cat Syndrome.

In another video, Wall-E's dad confirmed the full story on how they found him in the walls and revealed: "Came downstairs one morning [and my wife] said, 'I'm pretty sure I heard a kitten meow somewhere."
They then went about their day after he didn't hear it, but the dogs kept "sniffing and scratching" a wall near their dining table. "So we were listening and waiting for a kitten meow to find out where this thing was," he continued. "Eventually, I cut a hole in the wall to see if anything was there, and it turned out there wasn't."
Eventually, they realized the kitten's meows were coming from their basement and found him in the wall. He pulled the sweet baby out of the wall, and they decided to keep him because he was so "cute."
Everyone in the comments absolutely fell in love with Wall-E and his little wobbles, with one user writing that he's "so cuteee."

Another person in the comments asked, "Did you ever find out how kitty ended up in the wall," and if he had a family or any other siblings.
"We did see a couple cats pass through a couple of times, but we didn't think anything," Wall-E's dad said in the comments. "He was 5-6 [weeks] when [Wall-E's mom] left him. There is an opening in our wrap-around porch where our hose goes. She must have gone through there."
What Is Wobbly Cat Syndrome?
Wobbly Cat Syndrome, also known as cerebellar hypoplasia, is a common neurological disorder in cats. According to WebMD, Wobbly Cat Syndrome is "caused by the underdevelopment or destruction of the cerebellum, a vital part of the brain."
"The cerebellum is a part of the brain that regulates the positioning of the trunk and the strength and direction of limb movements," they explained. "The cerebellum is vital for maintaining balance. It also controls the movements of the limbs, trunk, eyeballs, and head."
So when the cerebellum is underdeveloped, it causes "incoordination, wobbliness, or unsteadiness," especially when walking. Kittens are typically born with the condition, and there is no cure. But despite this, a cat will have "the strength to walk, eat, and manage most functions but [will] struggle with balance and coordination."
Cats with this condition may improve with age, but the symptoms won't go away, and it doesn't affect their life expectancy. While they may struggle with the condition, there's plenty pet parents can do to make their cat comfortable, like providing carpets so they don't slip around and food and water bowls that are heavier and won't move around when they try to eat.
