When TikToker Tawny Aiello heard frantic cries coming from her backyard pool, she knew something was wrong. After rushing outside to investigate, she discovered a distressed crow struggling in the water and quickly sprang into action.

Be sure to turn the sound on for this one. You can hear the crow's family calling out in alarm, which is what first alerted Tawny to the bird's desperate situation. Thanks to her quick thinking and compassion, the crow was safely rescued, and viewers are praising her for stepping in when the bird needed help most.

Tawny shared more about the scene in the video's caption. "I just came inside from watering the flowers out front and happened to look in the backyard and saw this poor little babe trying to get out. My husband had seen him about 30 minutes earlier near the edge of the pool, but I'm not sure when he actually fell in. He was definitely exhausted. But he flew off after about 15 minutes to join his family!"

Since her rescue, the crows have been continuing to visit - in recent videos, you can hear them calling out when they see her - and one crow even left her a gift: a beautiful feather that we're willing to believe came from the crow she saved. As commenter @julia skyes pointed out, "You just made a bunch of friends. I'm so jealous." So are we!
