This Woman Reading a Book About Her Dog to Her Dog Is Melting People's Hearts

Renegade is a very good dog with a popular YouTube channel full of wholesome moments, and this clip showcasing her mom reading her a story is just too sweet to ignore.

"I read my dog a book about her," the video caption says as we watch the service dog bring her mother a book in bed.

"That's not a book," Renegade's mom says. "OK, it's technically a book," although the pages inside are filled with Mom's handwriting. It's a journal all about Renegade's life, and the story that unfolds has the Internet in tears.
"Mama has the best voice," the story begins, told from Renegade's own perspective. "She talks to me always. She tells me that she loves me and talks about our day."
Renegade listens intently, her head perched on her mama's pillow, big eyes looking straight up at the face of the human she loves.
"Mama speaks and I listen," the woman continues. "I love the way she sounds. Her voice is warm and caring, and something new is changing now."
As the story unfolds, we learn about how Renegade's mama becomes pregnant and a little voice starts growing inside her belly.
"Then one day," the woman says, the sound of happy tears in her voice, "Mama brought home Sissiy. What a wonderful surprise. I tell her all about Mama while I cuddle by her side."
As the story continues, it gets sweeter and sweeter, showing how Renegade helped her mama with the new baby by bringing her the things she needed when mama was very tired, and just being the good little helper that Renegade is.

Do Dogs Know When a Woman Gets Pregnant?
