Discover Limited-Edition FIFA World Cup 2026 Spirits and Unique Bottles Launching Soon
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicking off in a few weeks across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, liquor brands are already treating the tournament like a global stage.
"Brands are embracing the FIFA World Cup. Be on the lookout for exciting new packaging and product innovations in the leadup to this global event," says Michele Giammittorio, Senior Director of Spirits Category Management at Total Wine & More. And the activity isn't limited to packaging. "There are special blends made specifically for this World Cup," she adds.
What's emerging is a mix of limited editions, host‑city tributes, and full‑on redesigns from some of the biggest names in whiskey, tequila, Champagne, and ready‑to‑serve cocktails. Below is what we've confirmed so far, with more expected to roll out as the tournament approaches.
From trophy‑inspired bottles to sherry‑finished hometown releases, here's a first look at the World Cup drinks already lining up for kickoff.
Buchanan's FIFA World Cup 2026 Spirit Collection
Buchanan's taps into its deep Latin American fan base with the first‑ever FIFA World Cup 2026 Spirit Collection, a four‑bottle lineup designed with LA creative collective Kids of Immigrants. Three bottles carry the brand's cornerstone 12‑Year‑Old DeLuxe blend ($32), while the fourth-Buchanan's Pineapple ($30)-brings a lighter, fruit‑forward profile at 70 proof (35% ABV) built for easy mixing.
Each label leans into bold graphics tied to fútbol culture: Mi Gente | Mi Juego (My People | My Game), El Ritmo | La Calle (The Rhythm | The Street), Un Balón | Un Sueño (A Ball | A Dream), and El Golazo | La Fiesta (The Goal | The Party).
There will also be commemorative cups for the Buchanita, a cocktail made with Buchanan's DeLuxe and pineapple juice, available at stadiums and fan fests during the tournament.
Tequila Don Julio 1942 - FIFA World Cup 2026 Limited‑Edition
Tequila Don Julio 1942 has long been a fixture in nightlife, and this gold, trophy‑inspired FIFA World Cup 2026 edition ($225) is engineered to pop under club lights. Originally launched in 2002 to mark 60 years since Don Julio González founded the brand, the 1942 expression has only been reimagined once before, making this its second-ever redesign and the first tied to the World Cup. Inside the bottle is the brand's classic añejo tequila aged at least two years in American white oak barrels, which boasts vanilla and roasted‑agave flavor notes.
J. Rieger & Co. Kansas City Whiskey - FIFA Host City Release
As one of the 2026 host cities, Kansas City gets a so-called hometown bottle ($48) from J. Rieger & Co., the distillery that revived "Kansas City–Style Whiskey" when the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau approved its sherry‑finished blend in 2014. The whiskey combines straight bourbon, light corn whiskey, and straight rye with a touch of 15‑year-old oloroso sherry for a slightly sweet profile, which is bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV). This World Cup edition features artwork by local competition winner Jadie Arnett and will be available in Kansas City and online.
Champagne Taittinger - FIFA World Cup 2026 Limited‑Edition Brut Réserve
Taittinger is back with another World Cup Champagne, a Brut Réserve ($75) dressed for the 2026 tournament and limited to 350,000 bottles worldwide. The house has been releasing commemorative editions since 2014, but this year's run lands across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as the biggest World Cup in history kicks off in all three countries. As the only French Champagne producer tied to FIFA, Taittinger brings a bit of Reims polish to the global spectacle.
Casamigos Crafted Cocktails - Official Margarita of the FIFA World Cup 2026
Casamigos is leaning into match‑day culture with its new Crafted Cocktails line, a pair of ready‑to‑serve margaritas built from the brand's tequila and orange liqueur. Available in Classic Lime and Spicy, both sit at 41 proof (20.5% ABV) and are designed for the easiest possible serve: pour over ice and you're done. The brand even launched a campaign staring actress Gabrielle Union and comedian Keegan‑Michael Key.
