SeaWorld: Electric Ocean to feature animal and aerial shows

SeaWorld Orlando’sElectric Ocean nighttime event will include a new drone show, the return of its “Ignite” fireworks, after-dark animal presentations and more this summer, the theme park announced Thursday.

The event kicks off June 12 with three nighttime animal shows: “Shamu Celebration: Light Up the Night” featuring killer whales; “Sea Lions Tonite,” a comedy show; and the new “Dolphins: Touch the Sky,” which emphasizes the connection between humans and nature.

The park also will present “Hydro Surge: Cirque Spectacular Show,” which incorporates acrobatics, dancing and drumming inside Nautilus Theater.

The drone show again will feature formations of sea creatures and ocean-inspired scenes befitting the “Feeling Electric” music. The Electric Ocean evenings are topped off with the “Ignite” fireworks. Both aerial shows take place above the park’s central lake, with viewing available from Bayside Stadium, the Waterfront area and other sections of the park.

Bayside Stadium will also be the site of Club SeaGlow, a DJ party, throughout the evenings.
