Imagine this: You sit down with your guitar at an animal rescue and you start strumming a song. Suddenly, you're buried in fluffy bunnies.

That's what happened to musician @plumesofficiel at L'arche de Ringo, a rabbit sanctuary.

The cute TikTok video shows what these rescued rabbits did when they heard live music for the very first time.

Spoiler alert: They absolutely lost it. In the best possible and cutest way.

son original - Plumes

The musician settles onto the ground and begins strumming "Toujours Toi"-a gentle, acoustic piece about lost love and second chances. Within moments, rabbits appear out of nowhere and start hopping over from all directions.

Not cautiously. Not slowly. There was no trepidation whatsoever. They're legitimately hurrying toward the sound.

And then? They start giving bunny kisses to everything within reach.

Faces. Arms. Hands. Anywhere their little noses can make contact, they do.

The musician starts laughing because apparently bunny kisses tickle like crazy. "Tickled so much btw " the caption admits, along with "Their little kisses "

The whole thing looks like something out of a children's fairytale movie. Which is exactly what commenters section noticed.

"He's a real Disney princess," someone wrote.

Another fan added: "I love watching how the animals love being with you! No matter the animal, no matter the song! You provide a magical combination of serenity and music!"

"Your videos prove that music is a universal love language that extends beyond humans."

"They are running up to you like bunny groupies "

Here's what makes this moment even more precious: These aren't just run of the mill pet store bunnies. They're rescues. Many probably came from rough situations. And yet when they heard something soft and soothing, their instinct was to get closer-to trust a complete stranger.

The song itself talks about wanting to go back in time, wishing for one more chance with someone you've lost. Pretty fitting for animals who got a second chance themselves.

Why Music Is Healing to Animals

Turns out there's actual science explaining why those bunnies reacted that way.

The ASPCA has looked into how different sounds affect animals. The research shows it's not just our imaginations-animals genuinely process music in ways that influence their mood and behavior.

One study tested various music genres on shelter dogs. Soft rock and reggae were on top for creating calm vibes. What seems to be most important is rhythm and pace. Animals prefer music that matches natural patterns-especially sounds that sync up with their normal resting heart rate. Harsh, loud beats stress the bunnies out the same way a calm acoustic melody helps them relax.

Researchers discovered something else interesting. Shelter dogs actually got better and deeper sleep when calming music played in their kennels. Regular classical music written for people didn'tquite do the trick.

The theory goes like this: For animals dealing with trauma or unfamiliar places, gentle music works like a security blanket. It fills the silence with something predictable and safe.

Those rescued bunnies weren't just being adorable little groupies. They were experiencing something that made their nervous systems say "okay, we're safe here."

That's why the bunnies came running. That's why they started giving him kisses. Music opened a door, and trust walked through it.
