Bulldog Puppy's Hilarious 'Destruction' Glow-up Keeps Mom on Her Toes

When the universe created puppies, it's a good thing one of the criteria was that they'd be impossibly cute no matter what, because they like to stir up some trouble! When everything is so new, exciting, and fresh, they're bound to chew on or destroy something they shouldn't.

Lavelle the English Bulldog did this very thing when he was a roly-poly pup, and now that he's a big boy, he probably should've grown out of this phase, but unfortunately for Mom, he's just getting started!

As an avid fan of Lavelle's for a while now, I can say he's only gotten more handsome, but also spicier! Being a Bulldog means you're born equipped with the perfect amount of sass and good looks, so you're able to do problematic things and get away with them! I'd say Lavelle's destruction glow-up is a solid 13/10!

To be fair, Lavelle has always been a wild man on the go or looking for beef. Those chunky legs have never slowed him down. In another throwback video, it's clear this funny boy was made to be a social media sensation!

Why Are Puppies So Destructive?

Puppies go through a lot of changes throughout their first few months of life, and with that comes some chewing! Whether it's the old joke about them tearing up shoes or they're into the sound of crinkled-up mail like Lavelle, the behavior can stem from a few things.

If it's not teething pain or boredom, it's their curiosity and interest in exploring their environment. They soothe painful gums by using their mouths to chew on something, but they might also find it fun to get into some trouble and tear up or chew something of more value.

After ruling out teething, be sure to give them plenty of things to keep them mentally and physically engaged each day so they don't feel the need to destroy everything in their path. If you've got a cute pup going through this, don't worry, take a breath-this, too, shall pass!
