Migos Working on a New Album? Quavo and Offset May Just Have Dropped a Clue

April has certainly been an eventful month in the music world. Justin Bieber headlined Coachella, Cardi B just wrapped her first successful arena tour, Usher and Chris Brown have surprised fans by announcing a joint tour, and of course, the whole planet has Michael Jackson fever again thanks to his debut movie Michael. And now adding to the mix, Quavo and Offset may have just hinted at a Migos reunion.

Fans of the Grammy-nominated group know the Migos haven't released an album since 2021's Culture III. Upon the release of that album, the rappers faced some unfortunate hardship as member Takeoff was murdered in 2022, and Quavo and Offset had a public falling out. So the prospects of another Migos album seemed highly improbable. Fast forward to 2026, and a new album suddenly seems possible.

Quavo Says "Job Not Finished"

On April 27, Quavo took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself and Takeoff (who is Quavo's nephew) in his story. He captioned it with:

"Warriors Never fold. Jobs Not Finished. TAKEOFF ALBUM. UNC N PHEW 2. LAST ????? ALBUM. REAL MIGO BLOOD RUN IN MY VIENS!!! AINT NO NEW CHAPTER JUST THE NEXT ONE!!!"

The caption would seem to suggest Quavo is aiming ot release one more Migos album. However, it's hard to guess if the picture and caption mean Quavo plans to do a new Migos album in honor of Takeoff, or if it will somehow feature vocals from his nephew. It's also possible Quavo is implying both. By the way, Quavo also posted a subsequent picture in his stories of all three members of the group.

Adding to the buzz, Offset also hopped on Instagram and posted a story of his own. He put up a picture of all three members of the Migos and wrote the simpler caption, "On dat!!!!"

With no confirmations from Quavo or Offset's camps about the future of the Migos, there's no telling if a new album is in the works for sure, and if one is, what that may sound like. So for now, you may want to revisit your favorite Migos songs on your preferred streaming platform.
