Giant Maine Coon Cats Take a Stroller Ride and Show off Their Giant 'Murder Mittens'

One of these Maine Coon cats is sitting in a stroller like a normal, extremely large cat. The other one is stretched all the way forward with her front paws fully extended into the air, like she's testing the wind or summoning something.

It's not subtle. It's not casual. It's a full stretch that feels weirdly intentional, like she knows exactly how big those paws are and would like everyone else to notice, too.

TikToker @a.cat.named.fig shared the clip of two Tabby Maine Coon cats out for a stroll, and within seconds, all attention went to the one in front. She leans forward, stretches her massive paws out into the open air, and just… holds them there.

The caption says, "She's the king of the world, and no one can tell her otherwise," which honestly feels less like a joke and more like a factual statement.

There's something about the way she stretches that makes it feel dramatic in a very quiet way. Like she's not performing, she's just existing at a level the rest of us are not fully equipped to understand. My cat Meatball once stretched his paws across my laptop and somehow hit three keys at once, and I'm still not over it.

People in the comments immediately locked onto the same thing.

"Beautiful floof paws," one person wrote.

"OMG, look at the size of those paws," another added.

"Wow, she has huge murder mittens," someone else said.

"Aww, she's stretching, how cute," another commented.

"She loves to feel the wind in her paws," one person pointed out, which honestly feels correct.

And that's really the whole moment. No chaos, no big reaction, just one very large cat fully extending her paws as if the air belongs to her.

Thing of Beauty - Danger Twins

Maine Coons are one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, and their paws are built to match their size and history.

Originally developed in colder climates, their large, wide paws help them move more easily across snow, almost like natural snowshoes. The extra surface area distributes their weight, making it easier to walk on softer ground without sinking.

Their paws are also covered in tufts of fur, which provide additional insulation and protection from the cold. Combined with their strong build and long bodies, those oversized paws are part of what gives Maine Coons their distinctive, almost wild appearance.

Despite the nickname "murder mittens," those big paws are usually attached to incredibly gentle, affectionate cats, who are much more interested in attention than causing any actual chaos.

Although… the dramatic stroller stretch does suggest she knows exactly how powerful they are.
