Doggy Day Care Claps Everyone in and the Pups' Responses Are Too Pure
When my Corgi was a cute little puppy, we gave our nearest doggy day care a try to help with socialization and confidence, and to hopefully burn off some of her "herding dog" energy! She absolutely loved it, making many new adorable friends, and even being "Dog of the Month" a couple of times.
I'm a big fan of doggy day cares that highlight their precious clients, and one Philadelphia resort is doing just that. With their daily dog "clap-in," this is one of the most heartwarming, feel-good scenes you'll see this week.

If only all places were like @wagdays.philly, the world would be a better place. The video shows a slew of dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, all thrilled by their warm doggy day care welcomes. This is one of those "which dog do you relate most to" moments, and I'm a curious, confused Miles through and through, while my sassy Corgi is as chaotic as Nola (at the end)!
I don't think anyone could have a bad day working at a place like this. Just seeing all those happy faces is enough for me. With the tagline "Wag Days treats your dog like family," it's clear they keep that promise, and those pups are feeling the love every time they attend.
The day care facility has some pretty great things going on, like blindfolding staff to "guess the dog," and having employees sit against the wall to see which humans the dogs will choose. If you need additional smiles, check out the sweet St. Patrick's Day photos these cuties posed for in Part 1 and Part 2 because they're impossibly perfect!
Here's one last bonus: dogs reacting after being called a good boy or good girl (we're swooning)!
@wagdays.philly Just a few of our daycare dogs before and after you tell them good boy/good girl!!! Aren't they the cutest? #dogsoftiktok#doggydaycare#goodboy#goodgirl#doglover

The Benefits of Doggy Day care
There are definite pros and cons of taking your dog to day care, but the basics they'll benefit from are burning excess energy while socializing and making friends, mental and physical stimulation through games and structured playtime, and in the case of my Corgi, it can help anxious pups with separation anxiety. For those who love going, the result is a happier, calmer dog at home!
