Photos of NY's New 860ft Residential Skyscraper Reveal Infinity Pool on Top

Fresh renderings reveal a striking new addition set to reshape New York City's skyline, with an 860‑foot residential tower rising on Fifth Avenue and positioning itself alongside the city's supertall luxury corridor often referred to as Billionaire's Row.

Newly released images show 262 Fifth Avenue, a 52‑story tower located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 29th Street in NoMad, which developers say will become the tallest all‑residential building on Fifth Avenue once completed.

The project has already drawn attention for its slender design, limited number of homes and high‑elevation amenities-including a pool situated at the crown of the building.

Why It Matters

Supertall residential towers have transformed parts of Manhattan over the past decade, including buildings with private full‑floor residences and hotel‑style amenities tailored to ultra‑high‑net‑worth buyers.

While Billionaire's Row is traditionally associated with the corridor around West 57th Street, developers and brokers increasingly point to Fifth Avenue's emerging role in attracting global luxury buyers, with 262 Fifth Avenue marking a significant milestone for the avenue.

What To Know

Developed by Five Points Development Group, 262 Fifth Avenue will rise approximately 860 feet and contain just 26 residences, spread across full‑floor and duplex layouts.

According to the development team, each residence will feature column‑free interiors and expansive views across Manhattan, offering a level of openness rarely found in dense urban towers.

The building is designed by Russian architecture studio Meganom, with interiors by Norm Architects, marking the first New York City project for both firms. Architecture of record is SLCE Architects.

Renderings show a dramatic open architectural crown, housing a rooftop amenity level that includes a pool perched near the top of the structure, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Developers describe the overall concept as combining advanced building systems with carefully curated amenities intended to support long‑term livability and wellness.

Private showings are expected to begin in May, with pricing starting at $7.5 million for Simplex residences and up to $18 million for Duplex residences.

Nikki Field from Sotheby's International Realty is part of the team leading sales for the property. She told Newsweek: "What distinguishes this residence is not only its revolutionary architecture and engineering, but its intentional focus on wellness and longevity. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to enhance quality of life, supporting well‑being and long‑term livability."

What Happens Next

As construction progresses toward completion, Five Points Development Group says it will begin engaging a select group of prospective buyers through private appointments before broader market exposure.

Founder and developer principal Boris Kuzinez said the project reflects a collaboration across architecture, engineering and design, with an emphasis on sustainability and responsible living.

"As we near completion, we will begin engaging a select group of buyers, presenting a limited and highly considered residential offering," Kuzinez told Newsweek.

With its height, small number of residences and amenity‑focused design, 262 Fifth Avenue is expected to join a competitive group of supertall residential buildings shaping Manhattan's luxury market-this time extending the phenomenon further down one of the city's most iconic avenues.
