Dog Owner's View When WFH All Day Melts Hearts: ‘Derpiest'
A dog owner shared their heartwarming view every time they work from home and internet users can't cope with it.
In a viral Reddit video shared on Thursday under the username u/cturn3r, the poster shares what they see from their office room located right near the bedroom, and it's the sweetest view they could ask for.
The clip shows their medium-sized pup lying on the bed belly up, wiggling his tail and feet, happy that he gets to spend the day with his favorite person.
"This is the view I have when working from home…" the poster writes in the caption, as they film the pup through the open door.
Dogs love spending time with their owners, but have you ever wondered whether they also need time for themselves like we do from time to time?
The American Kennel Club (AKC) explains that while dogs do need some alone time, it's important that you make sure that it's not excessive.
Puppies need this more than any other dogs, because it's crucial that you teach them how to be comfortable being by themselves. Start in a safe area like a crate and use positive association to train them.
Gradually increase their alone time, and allow them freedom around the house only when you're sure they're properly trained and comfortable on their own.
Dogs should have a minimum of two hours daily of interaction with humans or other dogs-this can be broken into multiple small sections.
They can be left home alone for a maximum of six to eight hours, so if you work longer hours, you might want to hire a walker or leave them at doggy daycare where they can socialize and spend time with other dogs and caretakers.
The video quickly went viral on social media and it has so far received over 11,000 upvotes and 90 comments on the platform.
