Tiger Woods’ hard launch with Vanessa Trump has folks confused: ‘No way TW wrote this’
The secret’s out, big time.
Tiger Woods didn’t just confirm he was dating Vanessa Trump after weeks of rumors, the pro golfer went a step much further.
On Sunday, Woods went Instagram official with Donald Trump Jr’s ex-wife and the mother of his five kids.
The hard launch includes two pictures, one of the Palm Beach-based couple standing together smiling widely. The other sees them cuddling on a hammock.
“Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side!” began the flowery caption. “We look forward to our journey through life together.”
Though the five-time Masters champ requested privacy, the comments were left on, and his followers had a field day.
Amid the sea of congratulations — from everyone including Vanessa’s sister in law, Ivanka — a few folks were left scratching their heads.
Many said that the romantic language sounded off for the man of few words.
“No way TW wrote this.”
“She stole his phone!”
“I love Tiger but this post confuses me deeply.”
“OK, I get it, he lost a bet.”
“Was his account hacked?”
If indeed Woods’ account wasn’t hacked and he really is an old softie, good for them. This relationship may actually go the distance.
Both Woods, 49, and Trump, 47, have more in common that you’d think than just being high-profile people. Both are parents to athletes who go to the Benjamin School in Palm Beach, and are often seen on the sidelines together.
Trump’s daughter Kai, 17, has already committed to University of Miami’s golf program. The PGA icon’s son Charlie, 16 – mom is ex Elin Nordegren – is a rising star on the links.
The two were recently said to be “very casual.” But Sunday’s post looks anything but.
At least a few of Woods’ fans were rooting for him to be finally happy, after years of failed relationships since his 2010 divorce.
“You don’t owe anyone anything,” wrote one. “No explanations or photos. Period. Live life bro.”
