Kelly Preston died of breast cancer at her home in Florida, death certificate says

Kelly Preston lost her two-year fight with breast cancer at home, UsWeekly first reported.

The actress’ death certificate revealed she died at the family’s Clearwater residence, which she shared with husband, John Travolta, and their two kids. She died at 11:46 a.m. July 12.

Most fans were unaware that Preston, who had been married to the “Grease” star since 1991, was even ill.

In his post announcing his wife’s death, Travolta thanked her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as “all the medical centers that have helped.”

According to the certificate, first obtained by Us, the “Twins” star’s body was transferred to a funeral home and then cremated at the Brooksville Crematory in nearby Brooksville.

The couple, both Scientologists, lived near Scientology headquarters in Clearwater.

The stars were often seen around the Sunshine State. They were most recently together in Miami in 2018, doing publicity for the movie in which they co-starred, “Gotti.”
