Smorgasburg Miami and Sean Russell of Soflo Vegans will host Plant-Based Weekend
Another ultimate foodie experience returns to the Wynwood area on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 from 12-7 p.m. for Smorgasburg Miami’s second annual Plant-Based Weekend. This is your chance to indulge in Miami’s largest outdoor-food market and savor the most delicious plant-based dishes around. Soflo Vegans’ Sean Russell has teamed up with Smorgasburg Miami to host yet another high-quality event in the neighborhood.
Over a dozen special guest vendors will be present over the weekend festivities, serving a wide variety of mouthwatering vegan and plant-based foods prepared by some of the top chefs in that field. Sean Russell is a highly skilled content creator, marketing consultant, and media producer at Lesaruss Media. He is also the brilliant mind behind Soflo Vegans, which has become one of the most significant vegan communities in the Southeastern United States.
“People should come to the Smorgasburg Miami Plant Based Weekend to experience some of the best vegan food South Florida has to offer, while discovering a great venue available to our community every weekend,” Russell said in a press release obtained by Detour.
This is the weekend to indulge in a variety of activities that align with your plant-based lifestyle. Learn the art of making sourdough bread from the widely recognized Helen Kim of Oori Bakeshop or have your tarot cards read by the gifted Mary Christianson of Serendipity. Experience the healing powers of crystal Reiki with Claudia Aros of Bagua Center and discover the benefits of essential oils with Carolina Santos of Akhila Om Yoga. Plus, don’t miss out on Paolla Jimenez’s insightful session on How to be a Plant Whisperer. In addition, Santuario Community member Mar Suarez will demonstrate how to make a flower arrangement with a floating candle centerpiece.
Michael Cantalupo will perform a fantastic handpan drum ceremony at Smorgasburg throughout the celebrations, and there will be live music by talented local musicians, The Lotus Collection from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on both days of the event.
Below is the complete agenda. Smorgasburg Miami and its guest vendors will feature one-time-only, plant-based menu items during the Plant-Based Weekend Celebration.
