Mike Pouncey, who will not play Sunday against the Seahawks, has a “small fracture” in his injured hip, ESPN has reported.

Pouncey will undergo a CT scan later in the week and could miss next Sunday’s game against the Patriots, if not more, the report added.

Anthony Steen will make his first NFL start Sunday in Pouncey’s absence.

Pouncey has had recurring hip injuries that have required two surgeries in the past 27 months. The most recent injury is to his left hip, not the one that was surgically repaired over the winter.

The Dolphins open their season against the Seahawks Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
