Body found in Miami River near Allapattah
A body was found in the Miami River on Tuesday morning, according to the Miami Police Department.
Police said the body of an adult male was found floating around 2312 NW North River Dr.
Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat told Miami Herald news partner CBS4 that crews "were able to retrieve the lifeless body of a man who appears to be Hispanic and brought him over to the boat ramp."
She said the man appeared to be in his late 20s.
According to police, there are no visible signs of foul play.
The body was taken to the medical examiner's office where the cause of death can be determined, CBS4 reported.
