Miami police arrested a pair of suspects on Saturday in connection with a fatal shooting in Liberty City that left two teenagers dead and two other victims injured almost a month ago.

Through tips and investigative means, police set up a perimeter in the Liberty Square neighborhood where the April 8 shooting took place. On Saturday, they arrested 21-year-old Yaairnes Rashad Bryant and 19-year-old Anthony Clinch, a law enforcement source told the Miami Herald.

The men were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center just after 5 p.m. They are charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

They are accused of killing 17-year-old Kimson Green and 18-year-old Rickey Dixon, and injuring two others. The four were together on the lawn outside a Liberty Square apartment when they were struck with gunfire. No motive was immediately clear.

But the teenagers' deaths motivated students at Northwestern Senior High School to stage a walkout protest against gun violence. Green was a sophomore at the school, and Dixon was a former student there.

Channel 7 WSVN first reported the arrests.

Miami Police will hold a press conference on Monday to brief the media about case developments.
