Man dead, woman injured in attempted murder-suicide

A man died and a woman was injured in an attempted murder-suicide Thursday morning in Northeast Miami-Dade, police said.

Police responded around 8:15 a.m. to an apartment complex at 1663 NE Miami Gardens Dr., where they found a woman injured in a suspected murder attempt, police spokeswoman Robin Pinkard said. A male suspect died in the apartment, she added.

The woman was taken to Aventura Hospital Trauma Center. Her condition and the nature of her injuries were not released.
