Two North Miami Beach shootings leave two injured
One man was injured Thursday night after a shooting and vehicle crash in North Miami Beach, police said. The man is in stable condition, and no other injuries were reported.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Northeast 19th Avenue and Northeast 171st Street at about 11 p.m., North Miami Beach Police said via Twitter. Officers and investigators are on the scene.
North Miami Beach police responded to another shooting Thursday night near Northeast 14th Ave and 155th Terrace. A 15-year-old girl with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital. Police said she’s in critical condition, but they do not believe the two shootings are related.
Miami-Dade Schools police told Miami Herald news partner CBS4 the victim was a 15-year-old student, leading to a tweet from School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho.
