Broken water main (not the hurricane) floods Miami Beach street
A broken water main on 41st Street in Miami Beach has filled a road with water, affecting traffic.
The damage was not related to Hurricane Matthew, said city spokeswoman Melissa Berthier. The city is fixing the broken main in mid-Beach. Drivers should avoid the area.
“The eastbound lanes are still closed at the intersection of 41st Street and Royal Palm. The median is being used for cars to travel east,” she wrote.
