A Homestead mother died and a West Perrine woman was injured in a shooting that led to their car crashing into a tree in Goulds.
Miami-Dade police released the identities of 22-year-old Grace Frazer, who died after being shot in the abdomen, and 20-year-old Brittany Clay, who was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital South with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say Frazer and Clay were shot around 9 p.m. Friday while riding in a Nissan Altima, which crashed into a tree in the 12000 block of Southwest 218th Street. No arrests have been made.
