Hialeah motorcycle cop hurt after crashing with pick-up truck

A Hialeah police motorcycle officer was injured Friday afternoon after crashing with a pick-up truck, according to WSVN Channel 7.

Two Palmetto Expressway southbound lanes near the Northwest 58th Street exit have been closed.

The extent of the officer’s injuries is unknown.

Channel 7 reported traffic on the highway is backed up as far as Miami Lakes.
