South Florida Muslims open their doors to the public for Ramadan
Ramadan begins Saturday. During this month-long observance, South Florida Muslims will be holding Open Houses at various mosques.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset and refrain from food, water and any worldly pleasures. Muslims reflect upon themselves through intense prayers.
Open Houses are an opportunity for the public to join in breaking fast and sharing meals. An RSVP is appreciated.
