A baby loggerhead turtle was found on the Overseas Highway a day after Hurricane Irma swept through the Florida Keys.
Its name?
Irma, of course.
On Wednesday, Bette Zirkelbach, manager of the Florida Keys-based Turtle Hospital in Marathon, cleaned with a toothbrush.
Zirkelbach hopes that Irma, who was found Sept. 11 and taken to the hospital, can be released with other hatchlings in the next few weeks.
